Comet 21P/Giacobini-Zinner imaged on September 10th, 2018, just on its perihelion day at the minimum distance to the Sun. Moreover it almost coincides with its maximum due to the approach to Earth. The present apparition of the periodical comet is the most favorable in decades. Located into constellation Auriga in the middle of the Milky Way on a full starfield and casually passing between the large open clusters Messier 36 at right and Messier 37 at left, also some reddish interstellar dust clouds can be seen mixing between stars.
