The Etna volcano has recently resumed a Strombolian-type activity with large roars and expulsions of ash and lapilli. On the night between July 27 and 28 I positioned myself at Piano dei Grilli (Vulcano Etna - Italy) so as to be able to intercept the transit of the Moon on the vertical of the "Voragine" crater of Etna with the aim of immortalizing this fascinating exchange of lights between our natural satellite and the impetuous volcano.
